Overactive Imagination Pictures Joins Largo.AI AFM Pitch 2nd Year
Producers Return With AI Audience-Tested Original Film Slate Projected $1.6B Gross Revenue
VENTURA, Calif., Oct. 16, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Overactive Imagination Pictures, LLC (OIP) has been selected to present at the American Film Market (AFM) Largo.AI Pitch Event for a second consecutive year. The back-to-back invitations from the Swiss-based AI-powered film analytics provider highlight OIP’s integration of human storytelling, audience simulation and commercial analytics to support development and financing decisions. The event is scheduled for November 13, 2026 at the Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles.
Detailed project information is available at Overactive Imagination Pictures.
The Ventura-based production company’s five-film slate has combined worldwide gross revenue projected by Largo.AI at approximately $1.6 billion. OIP uses Largo.AI’s proprietary analytics to assess commercial potential and inform screenplay development, casting considerations and audience positioning.
“It’s been a pleasure to see Overactive’s slate of uniquely original content grow since last year’s AFM and we’re thrilled to bring them back again in 2026,” says Largo.ai’s Annemarie Blue.
“Returning to the largest American film market for the second year in a row is truly a dream come true for our company,” said Ken Sheetz, Founder. “By being the first filmmakers to receive this recurring invitation from Largo.AI, we feel a tremendous sense of momentum presenting our vetted slate to the brightest minds in the entertainment world.”
Says co-founder Elizabeth England, “Last year we presented our $120 million production SUMMER RULES, a post 9/11 disaster epic projected by Largo to gross $723 million. This year we are presenting sex comedy JELLYBEANS, our $4 million production about a young couple’s big Polish budget wedding getting hijacked by an ominous family sex myth, projected to gross $26.7 million.”
Strategic milestones
- Consecutive presentations: Selection to present at the Largo.AI Pitch Event at AFM in 2025 and 2026.
- Data-driven development: Application of predictive analytics to refine script structure, casting choices and simulated focus group response for market optimization and green-light confidence.

This achievement follows a year of expansion for Overactive Imagination Pictures as it continues to integrate advanced technology into the creative development process of human-made intellectual property.

Independent Filmmakers Spotlighted at AFM Pitch Conference with Emotionally Resonant 9/11 Story
Ventura, CA — December 10, 2025 — Overactive Imagination Pictures selected by Swiss-based predictive analytics firm Largo.ai to present at the American Film Market (AFM) Pitch Conference 2025, one of the market’s signature showcases where chosen creators pitch their stories live to top producers, financiers, and development executives.
For filmmakers Ken Sheetz and Elizabeth England, the road to AFM began as a simple experiment. They first ran their bawdy comedy Jellybeans through Largo.ai, curious about how artificial intelligence might interpret their work. When the analysis came back glowing, they submitted, Secret Ingredients, which performed exceptionally well—strong enough that Largo.ai invited them to participate in the AFM Pitch Conference.
But it was their third screenplay, Summer Rules, that captured Largo.ai’s attention in a way neither expected. The platform identified the film as having major blockbuster potential, rising to the top as one of the most exciting projects in their emerging 3i/Atlas slate. While Largo.ai’s analysis points to exciting possibilities, these projections are informational and shouldn’t be taken as guaranteed outcomes.
“Once our analytics showed Summer Rules performing at record levels, we knew we were looking at something special,” said Annemarie Blue of Largo.ai. “Inviting Overactive Imagination Pictures to the 2025 AFM pitch was the natural next step.”
Producer Elizabeth England notes that the story resonates now more than ever:
“Superhero-weary audiences are hungry for authentic, uplifting humanistic stories again. Summer Rules explores how a family heals in the long shadow of 9/11—and now, two decades later, an entire generation has grown up with no personal memory of that day. The film gives meaning, compassion, and context to a moment that shaped the world they inherited.”
Additional support comes from From the Heart Productions (FTH), a well-respected nonprofit championing independent storytellers. “Summer Rules is only the second FTH-associated film ever invited to Largo’s AFM event, and the first to reach this scale of recognition,” said FTH founder Carole Dean. “Their achievement is extraordinary.”
“There are moments in a filmmaker’s life when the years of stubborn belief, rewriting, hustling, and holding the line finally culminate in a single, astonishing yes,” said Producer/Writer Ken Sheetz, founder of Overactive Imagination Pictures.”
The journey now moves from spotlight to collaboration as the team seeks partners to help produce the 3i/Atlas slate.
