How does the universe communicate? From subatomic particles and wavelengths to superstrings, stars, galaxies, and every living being—its messages ripple through all creation.

In 2012, filmmaker Ken Sheetz embarked on his 12.12.12 journey to Antarctica seeking answers to those questions. His mission: to counter the media’s fearmongering surrounding the end of the Mayan calendar signalling the end of the world. Through a series of guided meditations—one for each of the world’s 24 time zones—he set intentions for global healing, embedding them symbolically into the pristine ice of Antarctica.

That expedition marked a turning point in Ken’s creative life. It inspired years of consciousness-themed filmmaking and ultimately led him to a partnership, both personal and professional, with Elizabeth England. Together, they’ve produced acclaimed projects including The Coolest Meditation Ever: Antarctica 12.12.12 and The Flanagan Experiments, blending film, science, and spirituality in ways that uplift and inspire.

Today, Ken and Elizabeth continue their collaboration through Overactive Imagination Pictures, developing uplifting new films and Political Cool Down meditation series that explore the connection between creativity, consciousness, and the cosmos. Their shared practice of yoga and daily meditation keeps their creative compass true—tuned, as ever, to the subtle frequencies of the universe.
